Wll sure enough the wed night the 29th August was the coldest late august night in 60 years.
The plants were moved But the damage was already done
The Cyms are not dead ,but they sure are bleached and unsellable for a while
The major loss was 25 years collecting of Crucifix orchids
They are plain and surely knackered
Now all the covers and shadecloths need to be sliced up and bound and taken to the tip.
Our hope is that the crucifix will defoliate and if the canes are not dead, mass aerialise.(keikis)
