Export Policy
Exporting Australian Orchids to the World
The Australian Orchid Nursery can export worldwide.
The best time for you to import orchids is Autumn in your hemisphere.
We cannot be expected to know your countries import requirements so please be aware as to what is expected at your end.
We have exported to over 40 countries so far,but no two are the same as far as licenses and permits.
All overseas purchases will be supplied a CITES from our Artificial Propagators License at a cost of $10.00au.
These can be purchased within our shopping cart under CITES
All USA customers need to supply us with an Import Permit and the matching Green/Yellow stickers (PPQ 508). Non commercial hobbyists importing a larger number of plants would be wise to also obtain a Protected Plant Permit which, even though not required, would ease the entry of their shipment.
Phytosanitary Certificates on the other hand are expensive, time consuming and require a visit from Quarantine inspectors.
The minimum charge is $AUD150.00 and as such, usually requires a largish purchase to warrant the expense.
All export orders must purchase a CITES or the goods will not be sent.
If requested we will dispatch without a phytosanitary certificate, but will not be held liable if we have not been supplied with the correct licenses and paperwork. The onus is on you!
USA customers this is a good place to start . You will need to send us a copy of your Protected Plant Permit available below.

As we use Australia Post , USA customers will need to supply Green/Yellow Stickers to match PPQ Form 508
